The What the ..... File Part 2

Here's another one for the What the .... File!

Since the picture is a little grainy, I will give you a running commentary.

It's Motzai Simchas Toira, The stadium is packed and the Sanz-Klausenberger Rebbe steps up to the plate. He grabs the first apple and pitches it.

Right to the stands! It's a home run! The crowd cheers! Some Greek intruder yells "oopa." No one seems to notice. The mood in the room is giddy.

The Rebbe pitches a second apple, a third... All caught by adoring fans. "What a fine apple kugel to display on my shabbos table this will make," thinks one of the lucky apple catchers.

As the innings wear on, the apple supply wains. The fans are getting more agressive, diving onto the table, streimels flying.

Finally - it's the bottom of the 9th, the Chasidm are loaded, and the final pitch is thrown. An outfielder dives to catch it, and the crowd erupts in song.

Of course at any good sporting event, there is a guy who smuggled in a video camera, but could only afford nose-bleed seats.

If anyone has a couple of tickets to game two of the World Series that they don't know what to do with - You know where to send them!!! Uggh what I would give to go to one of those games with B. (Y doesn't like the noise and crowds at staduims).

Today I am going to my volunteer job at the hospital, and then I may join the PTA at the Detroit Institue of Art. I'll try to post more later.
